How can I cancel and get rid of the PayPal credit card completely?

I want always to pay by debit card. I don't even want the PayPal credit card as an option since in the past it was charged to when I didn't want that. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

You can always change the option of using your eBay card if buying something, by using change the source of funds (kind of hidden, but it's there). The card comes up by default so just look for the change funds option. However you got a refund.

To cancel the card, make sure you have it in hand and call the customer service number which is 1-866-419-4090. Good luck!

Thanks for your kind reply. You mention an "EBay" card. I'm not sure where that fits in. In any case, I tried calling the phone number you provided and can't get through. I get an automated reply saying that I reached that number in error. Have you by chance another number for them? Thanks.

The PayPal debit card (which I don't have),  however I  was able to find the number via Google and tested it. It's a long distance number (of course) so you may want to use your cell. It's Login, Click "Contact Us", Click "Customer Service Center". They'll also want your debit card number, I'm sure. Or perhaps they can verify your information some other way.

I'm sorry. I gave you the wrong number for the CC. The customer service # for the eBay MasterCard (with the PayPal logo on the back and the eBay logo on the front) is a regular credit card and the correct number is 1-866-419-4095. Again this number is on the back of the card and if it's the one you mean, have your card in hand.

I'm SO sorry. Ack, right in the middle of editing my message before posting, our power went out - for the WHOLE day which blew out our big TV - fortunately it's under warranty still until the end of the year. Sigh. I don't particularly care, but husband is beside himself. Of course.

Too bad there isn't an edit function after posting like many forums. Or if there is, I can't see it. 

Anyway, the number for the PayPal debit card, if that's what you're looking for, is Login, Click "Contact Us", Click "Customer Service Center". It appears to be buried in the PP debit card agreement.  I tested it again just to double check.

Thanks for your kind reply. I may end up having to close the account entirely, and reopen (hopefully) without the PayPal credit card, if they will lat me do that. In the meanwhile I'm going to see if I can find some way to salvage my current account. I haven't figured out how to reach a human being at PayPal phone customer service. All I get is an automated menued messaging system, which doesn't help, and is quite frustrating. Thanks again.
