I just received my new card in the mail from you (Paypal Mastercard) and it needs me to link to a bank account. I no longer have a bank account and haven't for some time. I have been using the debit card just fine however mainly for online transactions. I no longer have a bank account because I have been without work since June of 2010 and could not maintain the fees needed to keep an account open. Is there anyway to ensure the activation for the new card so I can continue using it for my online payments (both to me for artwork commissions and to pay online bills) without having to open a new bank account somehow? The only other option would be to link to my husbands bank account, however his name is not on the card.

I also tried to email paypal directly but it kept saying the last 4 digits of my card were invalid, however I am looking right at the card and just used it yesterday.
