How long does it take for a refund from a retail store to show up on my paypal balance?

I returned an item and they said they put the money back into my mastercard. I was like ok and I left.

Came home to find out there was no money refunded back to my account...Does it take time or did they **bleep** up?

Same question here.  I did the same thing.  Credited back to my debit card this morning and still  zip--nada.
