Are there any plans in the near future for PayPal to offer its US customers a debit card equipped with the chip-and-PIN technology that seems to be becoming the global standard? It would save travelers abroad a lot of grief if you did. Right now, the only generally available option is the Travelex Cash Passport, but the exchange rates are atrocious. Given that your fees for foreign-currency transactions are among the more reasonable (Interbank +2.25%?), it would bring you a TON of grateful new customers if you were to offer a card with dual magnetic strip and EMV chip technology.
