Long shot here. I was expecting a small payment from a domain which was about to sunset (fatwallet.com). It was less than $4.. The payment was sent to an old email of mine with an expired domain (@hvc.rr.com) which I previously removed from PayPal. I can't access the domain to restore the email account and validate it with PayPal. My guess is it's somewhere in PP purgatory and probably appropriated by now (it's been a couple of years). My name was not attached to the payment and it's not in my state's unclaimed funds database.

Any unclaimed funds would return to the sender at 30 days if the paypal account linked to that email address was closed.
