I received a message from PayPal on Sep. 27 titled "Recent changes to our products and services" that says PayPal would be retiring the Fraud Management Filters (FMF) and the Risk Control tool on October 31, 2022. The letter says I should switch from PayPal Payments Pro to another checkout like PayPal Advanced Checkout if I wish to have access to these above fraud detection tools.
How do I figure out if it is worthwhile for me to switch to PayPal Advanced Checkout and pay the extra fees for fraud protection? For example, is there a way to find out what percent of the payments submitted to my account were fraudulent and rejected by PayPal over the past year?
If submission of fraudulent payments from my customers is not a major issue for my account, I would prefer to continue using PayPal Payments Pro.
