Negative testing Error 10626 with DoDirectPayment API results in a Failure ACK but merchant account indicates a charge.
I've created a small GitHub repo with a single test case to demonstrate this: https://github.com/jaytula/paypal-error-10626
This happens for sure in the Sandbox but what got me investigating is that we have been getting 10626 errors for reals and some customers are being double-charged because re-attempts likely because they believed it failed. It's hard to know for sure what is happening because errors can't be easily induced on the PayPal live server.
Does anybody have any insight into this?
