Hi, I have Paypal integrated into Woocommerce in my Wordpress website. I need a way to be informed by Text or an ‘Alert’ ( not email ) when a payment comes in. What is the trick please ? Thanks.
Did you get this worked out? There are a couple of ways it could be done.
Use PayPal Webhooks and write a script that uses a service like Twilio to send text messages based on the webhook data. You may be interested in our PayPal Webhooks for WordPress plugin for that.
Write a plugin for WooCommerce that does this directly without the need for Webhooks.
