Some years ago we implemented recurring payments using a PayPal widget:

We have several hundred recurring subscriptions.
We're now trying to update our system, which uses a PayPal SOAP/NVP API "GetRecurringPaymentsProfileDetails" to pull the details into our system.
This API call fails. From reviewing other posts in this forum, it seemed that these old subscriptions aren't compatible with this SOAP/NVP API call. Please can you confirm this is the case, or tell me what diagnostic I can run in order to clarify this?
If so, what are our options? The provider of our system uses the PayPal SOAP/NVP API (which I know is considered legacy), and they don't use the PayPal REST API. Is there a way to modify the existing subscription/profile in order to for the GetRecurringPaymentsProfileDetails call to succeed?
