When will the ZAR be added to Paypal currency, as we are unable to make it an available payment option on our e-commerce site.

You can thank the government, the reserve bank, and the minister of finance for that.

It seems the pour souls are still stuck in the 70s when they become scared that too much money is going to flow out of the country, instead of embracing free market economy. Yawn.

We, the humble South African internet users and web developers, desperately need the ZAR currency on Paypal. 

Please help us out and add the ZAR to your outstanding system today ? 

It was afterall a former South African that helped with the design of your logo.

Don't bother. Payfast www.payfast.co.za is the South african equivalent. By the time Paypal wakes up it will be too late, Payfast is growing exponentially every month. Check it out, designed and developed in South Africa for the local market.
