Got e-mail saying: To continue to receive information about your account electronically—including your account statements—you must accept our Electronic Communications Delivery Policy, Can't find link to accept.

I'm receiving monthly statement ready emails in which I receive after accepting the electronic delivery agreement. There is a setting on my account that says Do you want statements?, and it is off. It is like that setting is being disregarded, so now it thinks everybody wants statements. It's like the setting is disregarded when the Paypal system was updated to include the electronic delivery agreement. And then the confusion when monthly emails start to be received for something you've never set up or wanted, or phishing, etc. The emails turn out to be not actually phishing, even through it is badly done with all the links it includes, and the source ip isn't directly from paypal.com.

I too have looked on how to turn off this SPAM notification (and it is unsolicated email that is not necessary for dormant accounts).

It is not listed anywhere on the communicates tab below.

Account Information Notifications Email

Name Change, Address Change, Email Change, Password Change, Lost Password Request, Bank Account Change

Paypal should know better than to send unexpected email as it will bread a false sense of security for phishing scams.

Only option I see now it to block all email from paypal or and not get any notifications.

If someone can share how to shut this off this spam, please do.

Thank you
