Address & Country Change

Paypal doesn't allow me to delete my current home address. When I go into edit it, I can change everything except the country.  Thats the problem. I moved from Europe to the United States and need to shift everything over.  Do I need to just start a new account or is there a better way.  Crazy that this is not more intuitive.

When you move to a new country, you need to close your PayPal account and open a new account with your new address.

Here's how to close your PayPal account: log in to your PayPal account, click Profile,  click My settings, click Close Account in the Account Type section, follow the steps listed.

Here's how to open a new PayPal account: go to The PayPal website and click sign Up, select your country or region and language, select the type of account you want to open, and then click Get Started and enter your information, and then click Agree and Create Account.

Once you confirm your email address, you can start using your new account.
