Timing of Bank Transfer clearing date

Is it true that a transfer today by 4pm (before the bank holiday) will reach the bank sooner than if the transfer was completed after 4pm?

Depending on your bank, it can take 3-4 business days for the money to appear in your account, there is not a set time to withdraw funds to make it to the bank by a certain time. I hope this helps.
