PayPal site is useless, go to @AskPayPal on Twitter for help

For nine days my account was frozen in this verification loop.  I verified my account half a dozen times, but could never gain access.  I couldn't send a proper message to tech support because I was locked out.  I tried finding a phone number, but everyone knows that PayPal is telephonically inaccessible to the world at large.

Only after stumbling across an article on Lifehacker.com did it occur to me to see tech support on Twitter.

^OJK on @AskPayPal solved my problem in minutes.

And I've never been so angry after having a problem solved.

Why wouldn't PayPal have any mention of its @AskPayPal Twitter support on its site?

I spun my wheels for more than a week, sick to my stomach thinking that PayPal -- whose answer to almost every problem is to drain someone's bank account -- had access to my bank account, but I had no access to my PayPal account.

PayPal has earned its horrific reputation.  Google PayPal and then brace yourself.  The horror stories are multitudinous.
