Echeck did not clear on the date it stated

I had a family member send me money from their bank account to my PayPal account, the funds were taken out of their bank the day it was sent and she received an email stating the funds should clear and go into my PayPal today 4/15/2020, but it still says pending when I check the transaction. Can anyone explain this

Hi! Thank you for reaching Paypal. Im sorry you were not able to access the money right away. An eCheck is an electronic payment funded by the sender's bank account. It may take up to 6 business days for an eCheck to clear. Hope this helps. Stay safe.

I have the exact same problem can you please do a follow up as today is the 23 of May, was it cleared it not?
