Changed my primary email in PayPal but did not update on Patreon

I recently had a credit scare and went about changing all of my sensitive logins. That included my PayPal email address which was based on a website I no longer operate. 

Unfortunately, I forgot to update the PayPal email on my Patreon account. Now Patreon is saying they sent the money to my PayPal account, but my PayPal account is empty. Pretty sure this has to do with the two different emails.

Since then I have updated the information in my Patreon account so this shouldn't happen again next month. But what can I do to get the money that's presumably floating in PayPal limbo somewhere?

If you still own the old email address then 'add' and verify it to your paypal account and the funds should show.

You can have up to 8 email addresses on the x1 paypal account and receive funds on all of them as long as they are verified.
