Insufficient Bank Balance

So I just subscribed to Netflix and was billed about $14. I used PayPal to pay however, the balance on the bank that is linked to my PayPal account is insufficient. I am getting my next paycheck not until 6 days from now, so I will have sufficient money on my account 6 days from now. Do I get fined or penalized by PayPal or from my bank because of insufficient bank balance?

If there are not enough funds in your funding source ie bank account then paypal normally put your paypal account into negative and try again a few days later, if that again fails then they may try any back up funding source you have linked to your paypal account ie credit card.

However as you would have had a failed transaction they 'may' decide to not let you use your bank account for future transactions OR may send them as echeques and then you have to wait the 5-7 days till they clear through to the seller.
