EBAY is dropping PayPal as the recipient of my sales funds; they want my bank account

I'm not bloody giving eBay access to my checking account.

Is there a way to use PayPal as a "bank account"?  If not, is there some other venue I can do that in - that does not require me to go in-person to a bank branch?
