A few years back I had created Paypal Account when I had bought something in US $. Now I want to change it so that somebody in the UK can pay me in pound. It is a small amount, less than 100 pounds per month for about 40 months from May 2020.
1) I had given my credit cards details in the account that I have changed. In Merchant ID I cant delete the ID of the merchant from whom I had original purchase in the USA. Will it have an influence on the moneys that the person in the UK is going to pay into my account.
2) With each transaction where I'm going to convert money out of of PayPal into my MC account there is a fixed fee. I assume from a cost aspect it will not make sense to transfer each month to my MC, but for example every 3 months. Then there is the costs involved to change the pound into South African Rand. Is there going to be a meaningful difference in this cost (%) to change it into Rand (say 80 Pounds vs 240 Pounds).
3) I assume that it wont be possible to let the full amount be paid off and then when I'm one day in the UK to get the money in Pound, without paying any exchange rates? I don't have a UK bank account, but will be able to use the bank account of a friend of mine in the UK.
Thank you
