Greetings,

 

I recently opened my Paypal and eBay accounts in order to sell and purchase items.  All my personal and financial information has a 'verified' or 'confirmed' status, and have sold and purchased items with it in the past few days.

 

My issue is a recent item that I purchased and am attempting to pay for through the standard eBay/Paypal invoice interface, yet I keep receiving the "We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time." error.    I cleared my browser cache.  I tried the transaction on multiple browsers.  I checked and double-checked all my information.  I tried on my mobile.  Everytime I attempt to complete the purchase I get the error.  So I called customer service.

 

I have more than enough funds in my Paypal account, as well as on the credit card linked to the account.  The funds in my Paypal account cleared yesterday after a 5-day hold, and after calling customer service (an oxymoron in this instance), I was told that even though the funds had cleared and were released to my account, I am still unable to use them to purchase this item, and the representative I spoke to was unable to give me a time-frame on when I'd be able to actually use the fund that had been released.

 

I would seriously like to pay for this item in order to both receive it AND to start rebuilding my eBay feedback for continued business, but I don't know at this point whether Paypal is the way to go.
