I transferred about money from PayPal to my bank account a few days ago. Then today, because a friend sent me money a few days ago through PayPal and apparently he sent it to my phone number, I had to try to link my phone number to my PayPal account. I reasonably thought my phone number was already linked to my account because it was listed in my account information, but it was apparently not. I tried to link it by signing into PayPal with my phone, but my PayPal password wasn't working when I tried logging into PayPal with my phone. I tried this several times with the correct password and it didn't work. Then, I tried to log into PayPal with the same password in my computer, and it worked. I then had to try to link my SAME cell phone number that was in my account already. I linked it and created a password with the SAME phone number. When it was finally linked, I transferred the money to my bank account because I don't want PayPal to hold my money because I don't like PayPal (for reasons exactly like this - it is very clunky and not easy to use). And now there are issues only because PayPal didn't design its website and user experience well? Ridiculous. Very frustrated with PayPal that they make this so unintuitive and difficult. I only use it when I absolutely have to, like in this circumstance. And of course, it asked me to explain my "suspicious" activity now, and I typed this in and it isn't accepting my explanation with NO reason why it isn't going through. One of the worst websites I have ever been on this year. Unbelievable.
