Why can't I connect my Paypal to my Depop account?

I cannot connect my Paypal account to Depop, I keep getting the following message:

There was a problem connecting your Paypal account.

An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.

Help, I have had this Paypal account for years and all cards are verified.

Help please?
