Unable to login to UK paypal account from Thailand

Hi everyone,

I have a paypal account which I set up in the UK and with which I set up a couple of ongoing monthly subscriptions. I have moved to Thailand and no longer have the UK mobile number associated with my account. I want to cancel these payments but I am unable to login to do so because security is trying to send a text to my old UK mobile number which I no longer have. I have created a new Paypal account in Thailand which is enabling me to post this message. When I try so send an email to customer services I receive an error message saying page not available and when I ring the customer support number for Thailand the voice message says number not available. I would be most grateful for any help because these payments are soon to be taken for services that I no longer use 😞

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.
Sorry but only you can access the email or phone number for your own country.
