My email got hacked so I had to delete it. Kept using my email and password the same for months after the fact. One day paypal decides that i need to "secure my account" to log in which means i need to get a message sent to my email or phone. Since I still had access to my phone I figured it would be no issue because everytime i call the call centre it would recognize my number and tell me my balance. WRONG. They wouldn't even let me use my phone. So they effectively blocked me out of my own account i had to make a new one to even ask this question. Everytime i tell the call center workers this they tell me theres nothing they can do. I had the most difficult year in covid and what was most frustrating is that i couldnt even use my own damn money because of paypal. FIX THIS PLEASE OMG.
