A couple of days ago, my Paypal account indicates a message that I need to provide the ID card copy, address certificate and business certificate. And then I did it as advised. However, i got the reply that my ID card and the address certificate were approved in the following day, but the business certificate was unapproved.
The business certificate is a Hong Kong company registration certificate. Paypal advised that i must provide a China-mainland business certificate. I'm a Chinese mainland people. I had used the Paypal account under the name of Hong Kong company for around 7 years but now Paypal threaten to close my account if i can't provide a China-mainland business certificate in 30 days.
Anybody had same experience? What's wrong with Paypal new policy? A China-mainland people can't own a Hong Kong Company? And a Paypal account in the Hong Kong company name?
