The employee whose name was used to open PayPal account years ago left the company over 10 years ago. PayPal have restricted security code to just telephoning a very old phone number. So we have no way of accessing the PayPal account.
The sender of the funds sitting in the account (Payoneer) are refusing to recall them, which apparently would be the only way to get the funds back.
We're stuck. What happens to money that sits in a PayPal account unclaimed? Does anyone know if there is ANYTHING we can do to access this money?
Or will we have to embark on the journey of having to try and find an ex-employee who left the company over 10 years ago to get them to call PayPal?
