impossible to access the account

Hi!
So I had one account that I opened earlier and I used it a lot for my ebay. My husband used it also. Anyway, after a long long time, I wanted to delete it cause those cards were long time ago closed (we moved to another country!) and I wanted to use it again. I wanted to access, but it seems to be impossible. And this is why:
The options for recovery password is
1. to send email
2.to call me
3.to send me txt message
4.to answer the questions
So it has to be double checked, right?
The email stands, I use it. BUT!!! The mobile phone number does not exist anymore, so we can cross over the 2 and 3. And call me stupid, but I have no idea what is the answer to the questions. Actually, I write the fact, but it stands that it is incorrect. So it might have been that my husband changed something, but he cannot recall either.
And now comes the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! I have my email, I receive the verification code and cannot access my account.
!!!
So I do not know what to do honestly!
I sent an email with the specific description of the situation and got some non-related respons that I should log in and... I am beyond upset! Nobody answered, I understand. It is some automatic respons, I think, based on some key words in my mail. So HELP center- not helpfull at all!
WHAT DO I DO?!
I want to delete, cancel that account and I cannot do anything about it because I cannot access it!
Can someone please actually HELP?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved.

Unless you have a VERY trusted family member or friend in your old country that can log in and close it for you?
Failing that give customer services a call and see if they can close it for you, you would need to answer their security questions to confirm its really you etc

it does not meter where will someone try to close it from- the point is that I cannot access it. THAT is the point. And only after that point can I think about closing it.
My answers do not match and the email is not enough, and the mobile number does not exist for a long time already.
But I am confused. Why does my current ebay security login offer to fill in the credit card number as an option, and the old one does not?!
Cause if they would, I have the information in my emails about my closed credit cards on the old account and I could enter it.
ahhhhhh, I think I will have to remain on the site with no access to my account whether I like it or not... right?

The 'answer the questions' that they mention is when you phone customer services and they verify who you are via the security questions that you set up on your Paypal account.
You haven't said what country you are in but your best bet is to phone customer services and see if they will verify you via your security questions BUT If your answers do not 'match' then you are out of luck.
As for you closing it then as I said in my initial post, sometimes its difficult to close it from another country as paypal is country specific.
But if you can regain access then someone else OR customer services may be able to do so for you.
