can't change anything

My account was locked. I can't change my country and put in my new address and phones. What's the solution?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

Thanks for the info. It enlightens but doesn't help really. It seems Paypal could be a bit more nimble in an age where companies offer services all over the world but assume that the public remains stationary. I have residences in the US, Japan, and recently China and active bank accounts in all, yet Paypal can't accommodate my needs? That's lame. They can't keep track of my addresses? Come on. I've used Paypal for over 10 years I may have to find a better way to do this. It seems that Amazon Pay has just solved my problem for me. I can buy anywhere and use my Amazon Account to pay for it. As for receiving payment, I'll have to look for another service.

Thing is paypal is not a bank and can only offer services that the government/banks of each country allow it to offer.

That is why its so diverse country to country, some countries and only send and not receive paypal / some can't use bank accounts / some have receiving restrictions etc etc etc so it has to be country specific.

Amazon is great but even then it has limitations, there are some 'items' they won't send internationally etc as i have found when sending to family in France and Italy etc.

But yep looking for another service for receiving payments seems to be your best bet if paypal does not work for you. Doesn't work for everyone.
