Hi, I was just wondering if I could update my name from Scarlett to my actual legal name? How may I do that? I created a paypal without realizing i had to put my actual name. I tried to update the name but paypal hasn't reached out to me. What do i do? Please help, thanks.
Sadly you can't change a nickname, you can only change a name for a minor typo or for legal reasons ie marriage.
If paypal ask for i.d. at some point then your account may be limited.
If i were you I would close the account asap, making sure you cancel all subscriptions and removing all cards and bank accounts etc and then open one in your legal name.
