Select date format in CSV export

Hi, 

in recent months Paypal changed the date format in it's CSV export (atleast for me) from US "m/d/YYYY" to EU "dd. mm. yyyy". While I welcome this change it made my automatic sync in my accounting break. Is there any way to:

a) select date format? Changing language did nothing

b) decide which format is used only from the CSV file? So the system knows how to import it.

Same problem here. Accounting sync crashed. Very strange to change export setting without notice. Is there any way to fix the format?
