PayPal soon to be former customer

At a time like this when people are relying on online support the most due to the COVID how can PayPal cut down on their available customer service resources. I believe I was hacked. I inadvertently clicked to view a phishing link to read and article regarding how to help provide masks to medical professionals with masks and suddenly I began receiving recurring monthly charges on my PayPal account which happens to be linked to two of my methods of payment. I have tried removing one of the financial institutions I have on file to no avail. It won't update. There are no humans answering phones. There is no interactive virtual chats. This is a mess. As soon as I get this resolved I'm closing my account with PayPal. People are getting hacked and phished left and right and there seems to be no help from the other side from the resolution center except for them to deny claims. We are on our own. How is this possible. What recourse do we have as our money slowly dwindles out of our accounts. Is this enough for a class action lawsuit? With so many of us PayPal will soon be bankrupt.
