On every entry I struggle to get access to my account because
over and over again I am asked this question:
PSD2 Regulations in the EU change the way you log in with PayPal.
From time to time, we may ask you for a One-Time Passcode that
PayPal will send you by SMS. Confirm your mobile phone so that we
can send it to the right phone number and your login won’t be delayed.
I already asked the support of Pay Pal and I received (albeit a little
late) a prefabricated answer how I can actualize my mobile phone
in the "settings"-section beside the log-out button.
Does this mean that a mobile phone is MANDATORY (?) to run a
PayPal-Account? Until now I am muddling through during the
LOG-IN Procedure by switching to the head of my browser and
deleting the /confirmation-section on www.paypal.com/blabla/etc.
I will not buy me a mobile phone. Guaranteed not.
I will rather cancel my PayPal Account. Will the "mddling-through"
during log-in-procedure ALWAYS WORK for me or not?
Thos questian is absolutely essential for me.
Please be so kind to answer it. If mobile is mandatory I will cancel.
With kind regads,
Thomas
