Entered Social Security Number Wrong

I was setting up my Paypal prepaid mastercard that I bought from the store last night, and when I was doing it, I entered the last 4 digits of my social security number wrong. I meant to type a 4 and I entered a 5. I tried calling like four different numbers, but they're all the same, and in order to fix this I probably need to talk to a real person, instead of their automated calling. I'm kind of freaking out right now, because I don't want to lose the money I put on the card just because of my mess-up. How do I fix this?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

Well, I've been "on hold" now, for 10-15 minutes because after 20 minutes, I asked for a supervisor.

NO, she is NOT helpful, does not understand and actually told me, "Well, if you DO speak to a supervisor, they won't be able to access your account either."

Excuse me? This was a simple error, which, as I have a SECOND account that the  SS info was messed up, everything else other than the email and PW remain identical. How does probably one number off not seem like an error.

Yep, still on hold, waiting for a RESOLUTION.

So, sorry Micheal, not a great solution. Have already now wasted almost an hour of time I can ill afford.

Perhaps if I do get this sorted out, I'll come back to this and update the info. For now, this is about all you're gonna get: a long wait.
