DOB update, not saving

Just created an account on here and have a notification saying some of my account information is missing. I need to add my date of birth.

I click on "update information now" then edit on personal information screen, type in my DOB then click "Save and Close" to go back to previous screen which is now showing a green tick. However the changes have not been saved if i change pages.I need to click a submit button which I do however it never saves. I have been doing this for weeks now and now money has been sent back due to this error. @PayPal can you sort this out.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
