Since moving to Canada I have been trying to cancel my European PayPal account but there’s one account that is giving me heartache and because of it my account won’t close.
When I hit the ‘Close your account’ link I get the message: “Before you close your account…There's a preapproved payment or subscription that needs to be canceled first.”
So I go to Payments>Manage your Automatic Payments>View and I get an old account that I haven’t made a payment on since 2017 showing as active yet when I click on it the status it shows as inactive. I’ve gone through this cycle many, many times and nothing is resolved. Is there some way I can delete this old payment??
