Can't do authentication as phone no is wrong...but can't log in to change it! Help!

Trying to log in to my account...comes up with the new 2 step authentication thing asking to send me a code....but the phone number is my old one that I haven't updated yet! On the help, it says to update phone number in your profile but I can't log in to do that! I'm stuck!!!
