CAN'T log in

I have a new phone and a new number... Whenever I try to log in, Paypal asks to send verification to old phone #.... Customer support is not answering calls due to Corona Virus. I got an email verification code and entered it but then Paypal asked again for phone/text verification. WTF.....How am I supposed to log in to change my phone #, if I can't log in....&^%$

If you’re having trouble logging in, you may just need to clear your cache and cookies from your Internet browser. If you need help doing this, go to your browser's support page, or do a web search with "How do I clear cache and cookies in (Your Internet browser name and version, for example, Internet Explorer 11 )?"

If you can’t log in to your PayPal account, you can recover access with these steps:
    Go to Log In.

1. Click Having trouble logging in?
2. Enter up to the email address you may have registered, then click Next.
3. If an email address you entered is recognized we'll let you know which one.
4. Click Continue to log in if you remember your password.

Thank you for the info...BUT if you will please re-read my OP ...you will see I have already tried that. The problem is with phone verification...Paypal is using my OLD # that I do not have anymore. As I have to be able to login to change the phone number used for verification, I am at a catch-22.

ALL IS SOLVED !!!! when I tried to login to my paypal account this time,for some reason, Paypal did NOT ask for phone verification, so.......I was finally able to login and change my phone number. SOLVED !!!!!

I bet this is the first time a "glitch" in the system actually HELPED someone........ yea-a-a-a-a-a- !!!
