Adding alternative email.

I am trying to add an alternative email to my account but every time I try it doesnt work. My account is not able to accept new email and I don't know why?

Hello, @Viratnarzary. Thanks for taking the time to add your concern to the PayPal Community Forum. I hope the following information is helpful.

 

In general, up to eight email addresses may be added to a PayPal account. If more are added, or if PayPal's Security System detects an issue that indicates a higher then usual level of risk, that could lead to a situation where it's not possible temporarily to complete the action you're attempting.

 

Removing any excess email addresses and/or logging off and waiting 24-48 hours so the System can re-set can help address this situation. Please see https://www.paypal.com/in/smarthelp/article/faq1686 for more information. It also could help for you to log off from everything on your computer, delete the cookies and temporary internet files and re-start your system before trying again.

 

Another reason that might prevent you from adding an email address would be there is a limitation on your account. Please check the Resolution Center (https://www.paypal.com/in/smarthelp/article/faq3327) and/or the Message Center (https://www.paypal.com/in/smarthelp/article/faq3037) for more information and for steps that may need to be completed.
