Adding a Non-UK Mobile Phone number

Hi everyone,

I am currently living abroad, but i keep being asked for a security code to be sent to my UK phone number when i try to log in from say a work computer.

I now keep trying to change my telephone number to a mobile number from another EU country, however it keeps saying the phone number is invalid.

Has anyone ever managed to change a phone number to a foreign mobile number?

Hi @ingagera ... as mentioned above, the official line from PayPal is that we need to setup a new account for the country in which we are currently in. And again as mentioned above, yes, this is pathetic, as we can operate our home bank accounts and Visa credit cards (etcetera) from around the world.

To contact PayPal, try googling to find the correct page for your home country, and look for something like this >>
