My customer received two notification emails for her installment payments

One email says:

 

You set up an automatic payment profile

 

the other says:

 

You sent an automatic payment

 

She called me, afraid that she is being charged twice. How can I solve this problem for her and my other customers? Is there a setting I can switch?
