Customer needs to add personal info to complete order but where?

I have an informational service with a Buy Now Button.   But I need the customer to enter some information so that I can complete the order.   Or does the customer go through the Buy Now process and then I have to contact him by email to get the information I need?

I saw that one of the Buy Now button options included a 30 character text box but isn't that just for the merchant's text to show up on the form?

There is a way you can collect personal information, however you would need to add advanced variables in step 3 when creating your button. You can go to our developer website www.x.com for more assistance on how to add advanced variables to the button.

Thank you, Misty.  I will try that...I just need customers to add some short text information. It can't be that complicated.  Thanks much!
