Since my original question about adding a comment field is getting no answers, I thought of a way to add a comment field to the PayPal shopping cart on my own.
I can add an "Add to Cart" button with a field that the customer fills in, then they add that to their cart. I will get the comment that they entered.
My question is can the amount value of the item (the comment) be zero (<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="0.00">)?
I am sorry your first question did not get answered. When you create a Buy Now button you can put 0.00 in the text box and in the customize button section you can select Add text field which will allow your customers to fill in with your requested information.
