Paypal holds out of control especially for postage

I have been selling on eBay for years, perfect rating in the 150's. Suddenly Paypal is putting a hold on payments for purchases, even on the postage amount.  Is Paypal purposefully driving the plane into the ground to totally crash it? Are the owners of Paypal hoping to cash out and have the company go bankrupt?

Paypal ought to AT LEAST have the decency to let me purchase postage with what the customer paid me for postage.  To me, and most people in the world, this is fraudulent action by Paypal in the illegitimate name of risk aversion.  They are inflating their liquid assets for undoubtedly nefarious reasons whether it is to play on the stock market or foist ALL risk off on merchants.

I can't wait for my eBay Payments system to come on line. Paypal has become a horrible, nightmarish institution to deal with.

Completely agree. And even after paying out of my own pocket for express postage (so it gets there sooner, so I can get the funds sooner), updating the shipping details and the shipping is showing as delivered and the buyer has left positive feedback - STILL the funds are held. Sometimes up to an extra 10 days. I can't wait to never use this corrupt payment system ever again.
