I've had emails from Paypal about someone attempting to set up recurring donations to our nonprofit. The attempts are usually unsuccessful. The amounts are small (like $2) and the person's name sounds like a made up Asian name. The one I received recently was actually two unsuccessful attempts to set up the transaction where the person merely changed the middle initial. I wonder if this is happening to anyone else. I can't seem to find a way to contact Paypal about this and my suspicion that someone is attempting to use stolen credit cards where if successful with small amounts, the person could move on to larger purchases with other organizations.
