I can't get the Charity stauts for my business paypal (Switzerland).
I have followed the online help instructions, which are actually limited to: (1) changing the company status in "no-profit organization" and (2) contacting paypal for their analysis of the account.
And I cannot move on from step one. With no possibility of proceeding online, I called for five days the call centre and they dont seem to have any idea what to do. I have been moved around departments and waited hours on the line.
As per the website, the Charity status must be approved by Paypal on a case-by-case basis, and can only be confirmed by their email.
I am loosing hope this "association caritative" status is even a real thing.
