Joint account pain

So I have a personal business I use for eBay - my wife also has a personal Business she buys through ebay with.  

So she linked our new joint account with her paypal and I need to do the same.  it is a JOINT account but we have seperate business.  Why can we not link our two seperate business with our Joint account?

This is 2013 and you would think PayPal understand that married couples tend to have joint bank accounts.  So why is it still acting like it is in the dark ages?

You can only have x1 bank account attached to x1 paypal account.

Which is completely ridiculous as people have joint accounts.  Its almost like PayPal don't want the commision from two seperate business's just because they are for a joint account.
