How do I stop recurring payments

I would like to add my wishes to this post.

I visited the Paypal Help section as I needed BUYER's viewpoint help about 'Recurring Payments'.

All that's available is how to setup recurring payments for the SELLER.

As a buyer and Paypal customer, I need and want access to full control over who I am sending money to, ESPECIALLY those who are recurring deductions from my account.

As a BUYER, it would be great if there were a simple page where I could add, edit and delete recurring payments to different sellers/vendors that I buy from.

Make my Christmas! Give me what I want.  After all, I'm the customer.

Hi All,

You can cancel a recurring payment on a merchant-by-merchant basis by following these steps:

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2. Click "Profile" at the top of the page.
3. Click the "Recurring Payments" link in the Financial Information column.
4. Find the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel, and click the "View Payment" link.
5. Click the "Cancel" button and follow the online instructions.

I copied these instructions to a notepad and followed them to a "T"!  This did not work for me, when I went to this place I got the page, but none of the payments I was making.  So, determind I returned to searching for a way on my on.  I found it!

I went back to "My Account".

Clicked on "Details" next to the payment.

Clicked on "View Payment Details" link.

Clicked "Cancel".
