paypal just doesn't refund just because an ebay item's auction was cancelled.
You must file a paypal dispute no later the 45 days from the original payment
You will need to log in to your paypal account and file a paypal dispute from there. Once a dispute is filed you must escalate it to a paypal claim within20 days.
If you don't escalate it , it will close out in favor of the seller.
