plugin vs SMS security key

I enabled SMS security key on my account recently. Few days later, I went on to use my browser plugin to generate a secure card for a purchase. The plugin asked me to enter my security key, but it did not send it to me via SMS, nor did it provide a way for me to ask for it to be sent.

After a short runaround the site looking to figure out how to get thru this, i went back and disabled sms security key so that I can use plug in to generate the secure card.

Any tips on how to get around this?

I'd like to use the SMS security key, and the browser plug in. Can they work together?

Thanks,

ivaboston

I am having the same problem. Is there a fix or workaround? Do we need to purchase a key?

I suppose I could disable the key by sending stop to 777539 then reactivating it online. Will this deactivate the key? Is there a way to reactive it with the phone?
