no phone number on orders

I am a newbie- and i can not find out how to require a phone number to be added to the customers input when they place an order. Any suggestions?

I would like to add it as a requirement....

the only way i can see is by inserting a custom text...but its not a requirement 😞

Insert it as a custom text field and label it "required"

Phone # (Required)

Yes, the form won't reject it if it is blank, but most people will comply with a "required" field
